Hair extensions are a great investment.  To receive longevity from extensions, it is important to take proper care of your hair extensions.

Virgin hair extensions should be treated just as you would treat your natural hair.

Pre-Installation

·         Prior to the installation of virgin hair extensions, wash hair with a sulfate-free moisturizing shampoo

·         Follow-up with a moisturizing conditioner

·         Squeeze excess water from hair and allow hair to air dry.

Post-Installation

 Straight/Body Wave

·         Shampoo hair at least once a week using a sulfate-free moisturizing shampoo to remove dirt and build-up from products. Do not massage shampoo into scalp

·         Follow-up with a moisturizing conditioner, starting at the ends and working your way to scalp. Rinse thoroughly

·         Squeeze excess water from hair and let air dry

Daily-Care

·         Brush or comb hair thoroughly, always starting at the ends and working your way to the scalp. Always use a paddle brush or a wide tooth comb

·         Apply a small amount of alcohol-free hair serum for shine as needed

·         Style as preferred

Bedtime Care

·         To minimize tangling, before going to bed, braid your hair into a loose large braid and secure with a satin scarf or bonnet.

Loose Waves/Deep Wave/Kinky Curly

·         Shampoo hair at least once a week using a sulfate-free moisturizing shampoo to remove dirt and build-up from products. Do not massage shampoo into scalp

·         Follow-up with a moisturizing conditioner, starting at the ends and working your way to scalp. Leave conditioner on hair for at least 15 minutes to redefine. Rinse thoroughly

·         Squeeze excess water from hair scrunching hair gently to enhance curls

·         Do not use oil based products or an excessive amount of products on curly hair because matting could occur

·         Do not brush or comb hair when dry, it may cause hair to break and cause an excessive amount of frizz

Daily-Care

·         Damp hair with water and/or apply a leave in conditioner or an oil-free mousse.

·         Starting at the bottom and working your way to scalp, comb hair using a wide tooth comb

·         Scrunch hair gentle to enhance curls

·         Let hair air dry

Bedtime Care

·         Before going to bed, braid, twist, or pin your hair up

·         Secure hair with a satin scarf or bonnet
